Just a quick pop in to say hi. My therapist said it would be ok for just a short visit. I won't tell her that I spent an hour reading what I had been missing.
The list of excuses for my absence is long:
- "Temporary Sanity"
- My torch burned out.
- I have OCD combined with ADHD which causes me to spend obssessive amounts of time on this site until I get distracted.
- My dogs ate my password.
Well, you get the idea. ...or not. Basically I am overwhelmed with work, life, etc. but not in a bad way. For those who wondered, all is well with me & mine - thank you for the notes. Our baby is due in mid-December and that's all on track. Anyway, I will be back in full force sometime soon. I'm looking forward to some good new-fashioned thread crashing and village burning. :)
A couple quick acknowledgements:
Slippy - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You actually look a bit younger than 57. Can I still borrow your fog machine after saying that?
bear_music - I did read about your DQ. While I am sorry for your loss, I am reminded of a saying "Blatent cheaters never prosper" jejeje�
KaDi - You dominated the toilet thread. Be proud. :)
Everyone else: I look forward to getting back in the game when my OCD kicks back in.
Take care & keep my toilet seat warm.

Looks like that one dog is ready to eat the other (and he looks terrified, knowing it!).. anyway, take care of what you need to do and i'm sure we'll be seeing you around :)

I've been a shell of myself during your absense. I figured you were actually doing some work for once. Good luck with that OCD (knocks on wood five times then hoots like an owl five times) I know how tough that can be.

Slippy was noticeably absent, at around the same time you dissapeared, so I just assumed that you two had eloped and were on a prolonged honeymoon.
Either way...it's good to see you're alive.

| Welcome back Ken. I'm glad you're ok and that you bring back your sense of humor. We've needed that around here. I've restrained myself from shooting you a pm asking if you were ok, I figured you were probably getting a lot of those. Anyways, glad you're back. :-) And best of luck with that baby. Oh, check out babycenter.com... loads of good stuff there for expecting parents. |

My possible answers to this were myriad.
A) "Lucid. So incredibly lucid!"
B) "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA *breath* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *breath* HAHAHAHA"
C) Why didn't I think of that first?
D) All of the above.
Congrats on any sort of break from here. Now we miss you - hurry up and life already so you can come back! lol
