My entry in the High Contrast challenge:

I really liked my entry and am disappointed with it's placing. I'd like some feedback on it and the outtakes.

Should have placed higher, in my view.
The 3rd one is my favourite pose though, a little more natural in my view.

| Bottom right for sure. Her sitting angle is better (she's not looking off the page, you can see her facial expression, the right leg leads the eye right to her face. Just like me, you chose badly for your entry. Van |

| On your entry I gave you five as I found my eye was drawn away from her face to the brightness of her legs. I like the 3rd in set as it has a much "better" balance to it |

| I gave your entry a 7; it should have done better than it did. I prefer the third as well particularly the shape of face. |

I actually posted this during the challenge, but had taken it with the high contrast in mind. I still like it but am glad of the one I did choose. It did ok. |

| I loved this picture and thought it would get a higher vote, I was bummed. I think that you made the right choice. I like the one you entered the best. |

| Thanks to everyone who replied regarding Smartypants' shot for the HC challenge. For what it's worth, I also chose the bottom right one as my favorite and the one I thought would do best in the challenge, but she went with her gut. |
