Actually, I just reviewed the security tapes on my highly-protected studio gallery, and much to my shock I see that BradP actually snuck in in the wee hours last week while I was sleeping and altered my EXIF data. Some people will do ANYTHING for a top-10 finish, gawsh...
jejejeâ¢
Seriously, you know why this happened? Because in PHOTOSHOP the time shows as 6PM or 6AM, not 18:00 or 06:00 like it does on EXIF. Don't ask me why... So it was easy for me to miss this, I just saw the 6:26 in passing and it didn't raise any red flags, where an 18:00 would have.
Anyway the camera's properly set now...
Robt.

And I hope this thread serves as a reminder to everyone to check their dates and times, 'cuz dq'ing shots for this reasons sucks big time. :(

Bad News Bear...
I could'nt resist the pun. ;)
Sorry about the date problem. I had the same problem when shooting at Acadia--I didn't notice it until processing on the computer. But fortunately, it didn't involve any challenges. It does mess up all your EXIF data for those keepers though.

welcome to the lost ribbon club Bear! It's quite a club (some people even cheat to get in) :) |

So sorry to hear that, that photo is one of the best landscapes I've seen in a long time. It was executed flawlessly.
I'm curious though as to how you managed to successfully photograph such a high-contrast scene without combining different exposures in post-processing. Did you use a Graduated ND filter?

Nope. Just exposed carefully and processed the RAW file carefully.

Since DQ'd photos are shown, why doesn't the site let us still add them as favorites? That's rhetorical--it's a feature request!
