Sorry to be such a downer tonight..perhaps it is because I have to travel tomorrow and I HATE to travel when it is not necessary. But what the hell kind of challenge is this? Are we supposed to take pictures of highway signs or what? How can you take a picture of someplace/representing someplace you have not yet been?

Take a picture of a tombstone... that should be fairly unique.

Well the way I see it, this is a wide open challenge, it can be a picture of almost anything. Why ... well anywhere you want to go or end up, could be a park, a church, the cluds, a wedding, a birthday, a funeral, a boat ride, a motorcycle ride, a new house etc etc. Just hope everyone will honor the subject, .....one man's journey is another man's destination.

Don't like the topics, don't like the results...seems like a good response to me.

Probably...according to one SC that has PM'ed me they "Stick together" and I will be glad to post the original message if any SC member wants to try and dispute that.

What do you want -- none of us has anything to do with posting this challenge, much less posting it at a time you interpret as personally inconvenient.

Personally, I think "Destinations" the day before starting a trip is more like an unfair advantage to you.

Please don't insult us any more regarding things over which we have no control -- it is unlikely to improve our mood or the charitability of our outlook ... : (

hey, mk!

let's head to the clubhouse and have a secret meeting about whether or not we should lock this thread. afterward, we can hold hands and skip to the ice cream parlor where we'll share a scoop of butter pecan and double chocolate chip and talk about our hopes and dreams. maybe we'll see rainbows and butterflies on the way there, and we can talk about why you just don't see puffy unicorn glitter stickers around that much anymore.

bff!

There's a Double-Rainbow Ice Cream parlor less than two miles from here.

Then don't insult me by telling me image theft in the name of humor is ok just becaue an SC member was a party to it.

I haven't told you anything about what appears to be an entirely unrelated matter.

Nothing about the topic of this challenge or any response to your assessment of its propriety had the least thing to do with image theft. The first insult uttered in the thread was your characterizing an SC member's response as "lame" -- to me, that just about rides the edge of a TOS violation. If you care to take a flying leap over the precipice into suspension territory, we can't stop you.

Note that highjacking a thread -- even one you start -- is likewise not permitted.

IMHO, sarcasm isn't helping. Alienyst was quite rude, but it would be best to just drop it instead of taking the "eye for an eye" approach.
