Hi, for the textures challenge I havd a series of 3 to choose from. I chose the third piece, but now I am regretting not choosing the forst or second.
I chose the 3rd one because I thought it had the most contrast and looked more interesting.
Which do you think I should have submitted? Here is the image...

I definitely think I would have done better with one of my others. Take a look and tell me which is best. Konador, I do like the first better.

I like the one you chose very much TerryGee, but the one photo in your gallery that I think might look better is : moonlike pod.
I just think it shows that little bit of extra detail.

I also like the first one the best. I think the lighting is much better, as is the general composition. |

The focus on the second one is suspect and the third seems over exposed on the left. Number 1 has good focus, good contrasts and is far better composed than either of the other two.
Im afraid that, like the other posters, I prefer image 1.

I really like the one you submitted Kollin, but here are a few of my other picks - this one, and I really like how the colors kind of mutate together in this one , I like this one too . I like the way the red color looks as if it's pouring onto the blue and wrapping around the circles. All of them are very abstract and I like the idea that you had. Using the colors was a great choice though..I didn't like the plain ones as well. I think the one you chose to submit was the best though. K

thanks, KD. the 3rd one was the one I was going to submit, but then someone commented that there were white specks that would detract. however it had my favorite colors. it looked like liquid paint ... :) |
