Hi! I have several photos which I would like to hang. They are printed on Epson Enhanced Matte, and I don't want to put them behind glass. I've read about sprays that might help with preservation. Does anyone have any experience with anything like that?
For example:
"Krylon - Preserve It! Spray Matte, 12 oz, more than doubles the life of digital photos and prints, moisture resistant, uv protection against fading, acid free/archival safe"
link at Amazon
Many thanks for any thought! |

May want to send John Setzler an email or PM.
I seem to remember him doing some work along these lines lately.

A photo should be behind glass if at all possible.

Many thanks to you who replied! John, this one particular picture is sort of 3d-ish in that it's folded and stands out - glass would kind of ruin the effect. Have you used any of the sprays, or heard of someone who did? |

I don't guess I understand what you are going to do.. is it going in a frame?

I'm not entirely sure I know what I want to do either! I appreciate any help.
It will be framed, but it will actually stand out (at least parts of it) further from the wall than the frame. |

A shadowbox type frame (very deep) might accommodate the image.

That's true - I probably should reconsider. However, I'd much prefer to have it in the open rather than under glass. I was thinking that maybe one of the sprays on the market would help, but I wasn't able to find any reviews.
[adding] Actually, I found mixed reviews from scrapbookers, but I really wanted to know if any photographers from here had experience with the sprays.
