I thought I'd share my newest portfolio entry, no grunge this time I promise.

I was really just showing her how close I could zoom into a picture on-camera and see details in the eye, but I liked how the "fluke" turned out.

Dude, even your flukes are sweet.

Awesome shot. It's so not the typical Joey shot! Which makes it even cooler. : )

Enough kissing Joey's bottom. It's probably getting a little soggy by now.

Wide angle is not usually very complimentary to portraiture, but there are exceptions. This I don't think is one of them. The added blur tends to detract from the image. It doesn't blend smoothly enough and I think a more gradual blur would have been more effective.

Oh my goodness, thank you. I thought I was the only one who noticed. I swear, he could post a picture of a pile of crap and people would start about its significance to life and how gifted the kid is. Get on with it lol hahahah :D

Since I live in the same province as Joey, I will do everyone a favour. If I ever see him I'll poke him in the eye.

I think this is really interesting to look at. I agree with Heather that the arm looks odd, but otherwise her expression matches the feeling of the edits/art. :)

To be honest, I do like much of Joey's work. But when the dude walks out not wearing any clothes somebody should show him enough respect to tell him.

Don't hate on Joey cause he's good at marketing! :)

I'm not a big fan of this image either. I guess he just belongs on the dark side.

I like it, just to much blur, maybe overlay it with the original in photoshop and play with the opacity a little..... I still think its a good photo though.

GG

i think you went a bit too wide. since the nose was pretty close to the lens it got kind of disproportionate. but i admire you for trying something new

Why do people do this shit? Quote something and then don't bother to write anything themselves. Find a set.

This brings in mind the age old story of the two bulls on the hill. Need I say more? Not.

I appreciate the contructive critism, thanks for that man!

If you don't like an image, please give me constructive critism like nsbca7.
Every helpful comment and tip I receive is very important to me because I want to learn as much as I can here, theres so much opportunity to learn on this site why wouldn't I? Lately you're posts are junk and you're definatly not helping people like me who share their endeavours. You need to grow up, that's coming from a 15 year old.

I agree, it's behind her back and it looks really cut off! Thanks
