Who's talking smack? You'll see! I WILL get the BLUE !! :p

Maybe you will just BE blue! LOL. Just kidding, you go get em"

I'm new to the challenge thing , only entered Dairy so far, I can't believe you guys are throwing out ideas, no wonder you have a tough time when the polls open. Some people may not have a thought in their head on what kind of shoes would be interesting and you all just gave them about 10 ideas.
Still doesn't matter to me,Cause I'm going to get the Red Ribbon, so all you other clowns can fight over the yellow!!!!

Ideas alone don't do a thing - it's the execution of the ideas that make or break you.

Seriously - If someone is stuck for ideas, I hope this does help them. I know I hate it when I draw a blank and end up not being able to enter. Happened three challenges in a row to me!

Ooh, this challenge sounds like fun!

Here's a picture from a long time ago. I don't know why this picture strikes me so much.. I love it. It may not be the best photo technically but it grabs me and it makes my feet look kind of nifty. hehe.. I shot it in one quick second just to get a reference as to how black the sand was.

I don't really mind the ideas either, I'm sure i could use a bunch. It's all in fun anyway!

Besides...I have the Blue ribbon in my pocket so to speak...so I have no worries about any one executing the ideas here. whahahahahahaha

An incredible thing happened to me Friday...

Got my shoes shot, no editing necessary. Natural and creatively outstanding. Technically problem-free. Actually, this is probably the first time I haven't had to struggle with trying to fix blow-out, much less any ohter problem.

If this shot isn't a new high score for me I will be truly surprised. If this shot isn't a new high score for me, you will all witness the ravings of a lunatic for weeks to come!

Oh yeah, this shot is perfect for the challenge, and I didn't go looking for it, it found me! It really knocked my socks off, so to speak. I'm mor excited about this shot than I was about my Triangles shot!!!

Uh oh, I better pull mine. Heh, I could put some shoes on a toilet next to a nude woman holding a glass of milk. Does THAT count?

:~p

Well Linda, you've really got a lot of us now anxiously awaiting your shot! I'm sure you've got the chops to back it up... ;-)

Cuz, it really sux eating humble pie after you've been crowing so long & loudly (as you will soon see me do with my Nude finish)!

Haven't decided whether or not to enter the Shoes Challenge - although I do like competition, so I just might have to give you a run for your money! =D

I can reshoot it tomorrow. A friend suggested how to do something, so I'll try that.

SO Shutterpug are you saying you're a shoe-in for the blue....okay okay I couldn't resist the bad pun.
08/28/2005 11:24:32 PM · #45
i was shooting my magnificant wonderful better than any slippy triangle shoe photo and my darn battery pack died - it couldnt handle the sheer magnitude that was to be my shoe entry.

I must thank my mother for leaving all her footwear in her closet, neat and ready for usage. This, most certainly, is to you.

I too am quite pleased with the way my Shoes entry came out, and I'm hoping that it will be my best scoring photo to date. I think it's great that so many people are happy with the way their pictures came out.

The only thing i am concerned about is that my monitor shows my photo dark and it shows up light on my sons, I don't like the light version. Oh well, I won't fold my hand here, I'm calling Shutterpug and Slippy's bluff or I'm gonna at least take home the red!

It's a toss up for me. I have two that I reshot (different subject as well) and I like them both for different reasons. I can nit pick them to death too and after the Nude III, I'm a little gun shy.

Maybe I'll flip a coin??
08/30/2005 05:06:01 AM · #50
I'm going to submit a photo of a hat just to be different :-P
...I'll call it 'Shoe for the Head'
how's that for 'artistic vision' ???
