I thought about that but i don't want to make money from it or charge for them. I think it would be more fun and hopefully funnier to come up with a way to win them.

TRUE :)

well have a contest to design the shirts :)

That sounds awesome Alienyst! LOL I'd certainly participate in a contest to win one! =D

And one day I'll be able to say, I was there on that day that Nudie Boy appeared on the scene!!!

Well...I think the shirts are going to be fairly basic. I was thinking more on the lines of a challenge of some sort appropriate to the subject matter. I'm still thinking on this. I'll come up with something.

what about picking the slogan and then having a photo challenge reflecting that :)

How about selling the t-shirts and giving the money to a charity? I wouldn't be able to win one I'm sure, but I would but one for charity.

If I have a contest/challenge, believe me, everyone would have a fair chance. I would not base it on photo skills or even best photo, but perhaps funniest.

hey I like that idea too. Just not the "buy alienyst some cloths" charity though. ;)

whew! the thought of not winning a Nudie Boy shirt was depressing me!

But honestly, who is gonna wear these tee-shirts around in their communities?
08/24/2005 05:56:06 PM · #38
I would. I am planning on geting at least one for myself. I already PM'ed someone about bulk ordering some. He got back to me. Pondering the choices. More expensive than I thought, but a Nudie Boy shirt would be priceless.

I'm thinking more and more the "Underneath it all, I'm a Nudie Boy/Girl" phrase. Least offensive and clever and certainly suitable for public use. If not, you can wear it for sleeping or use it as a dust rag.

this is brilliant, turning an embarrassing moment into a tshirt empire.

Would the 'photo' be on the tee-shirt?

I would. Who wouldn't want to be nudie boy?

Just to vote for one of my own phrases:
How 'bout night shirts (XL) with "Underneath it all we're all nudie boys" on the front....and the soon-to-be high-placing image on the back.
?

That soon to be high placing image is dropping every time I hit the update button. I am still researching the possibilities. I am not so sure how many people, especially guys, would want the image on the shirt. Perhaps I can send an autographed print along with every shirt I ship out. Oh...numbered and autographed. X # of shirts, X # of prints as well.

Skip the shirts!
I just woke up in the early morning, and having met you once and under the most Puritanical of circumstances, I knew which entry was yours....and decided to declare my need for a T-shirt. I never thought the whole thing would go this!
Knowing how excellent your image is, I suggest you bite your tongue for the remainder of the week. I have high hopes for posters and other marketable items...let's "talk" outside the forums. (After all, the $'s beat the 5.9 every time!)
