So, I was home and just happened to rediscover my attic and how it would make a great place for a picture.

Just wanted to get some feedback on levels of this shot and whether I should lighten it up a bit, darken it more or if I should leave it the way it is. Any help would be much appreciated.

Great capture but I would lighten it up just a little.

My opinion is to leave it as it is. It's an attic. the light is supposed to be on the dark side. Excellent stuff!

I think it's a shot that needs to be a bit on the dark side. Works well for me as it is.

Played with the shadows and highlights a bit to enhance mood. Great picture..

wow, great emotive shot. Try messing with curves to make it more dramatic.

Great shot and not too dark for me. Personally I prefer the original.

Thanks for the comments. Sherri, nice edit, but it just seems a bit too yellow to me.

I think it's more about how much luminance is captured in the image. The original seems a bit flat. Sherri1209's adjustment has improved it somewhat to put more emphasis on the mood of the shot.
