Taken today - I loved the background, but had to be cropped. Which crop is better? And any other advice |

... and the highlights seem a little hot but i dont know if you can fix it. Still a nice shot!

I like #1 better. #2 looks better in thumbnail-view, but full size it has too much blow-out for me.

I had thought aboutt his. But right now #1 seems underexposed and a little under-contrast. With adjustments they would look the same. |

Here's a tutorial that might help tone down your highlights & shadows. I found it very helpful & have made Photoshop "actions" to run it. I use it a lot.
Hope this helps... if you use Photoshop.

WOW... that is a great technique and the before and after pics are amazing! Definitely going to try this on a few of my pictures. |

Okay - I tried that technique with another shot I was messing with yesterday. The cropped version is the result. I love the colors - they are much better. Does the crop enhance the picture or distract. Again...as always any advice and critque is welcomed
