Opinions? Just went down the beach and tried to catch some waves (not literally though) ;p

looks like your exposures are pretty sharp, which (for me) is one of the tougher things to get right when shooting a moving subject. with specific regard to the content of the pictures, a change in angle might help, as well as showing something else in the fore/background...

here I use my own picture as an example only because it's most convenient for me--


waves tend to look most dramatic somewhere between 45 and 90 degrees rotation from the head-on view you have in these pictures.

that is all I have to say about that.

thanks! I was just seeing if it would come out clearly. They arent too bad i guess for a first go. I also did some from a side view but they didnt work out too great

I really like #1, it is very different, and #2 is good as well. It looks like you're having a lot of fun with the camera.

WHOA is right... just looking at that first picture on the splash page is amazing! talk about an exception to the rule I had just mentioned... I'm glad I included a "tend to" in my statement about shooting waves.
