Next week: Jumping off cliffs. Be there. And tell your mom. :)

The thing I'm holding up and eating bits of? That's a string lined with fake diamonds that came from my grandmother's chandeler. I'm a nice little granddaughter no?

At what time are we jumping off a cliff? Cause I think it might be past my bedtime...

Don't take yourselves so seriously. (OK, yes, that's my excuse for not being as good a photographer.)

Wasn't crazy about this shot prior to the filter, but really like the result now.

Nothin' special, just messing with the lights. Didn't have any models (drat!) but I did find this handsome stud slackin' behind the camera.

Took this Tuesday with two Alienbees B800's, one with white 48" umbrella, one with 30x60" softbox. Umbrella was mostly pointing at the background, set at 1/2 power. Softbox was right on me, 1/8th power, taken at F11 or so.

"....it puts the lotion on it's skill or else it gets the hose again"

Very nice but maybe a little too much Hannibal Lechter for me.

Damn! Now I'm hungry again.

I was thinking the same thing, and the funny thing is I AM eating right now.

Thanks for posting the lighting details, Andrew. Adds an element of education to justify our vanity thread. ;-)

ps: Does lighting equipment cost so much you can't afford a new hat? :P
