I like the effects of the first two. But the second two are a bit over processed. You can see the oversharpening in the hair of the third picture. You can also see on both the third and fourth picture the selection. I have been told on my photos that I need to feather my selections so that they blend more into the blurred background. I hope this helps. I am learning my self and post processing is something that I am working hard at trying to master, so I try to look at things that I see in other pictures to learn how to do my own.

Remember always keep trying!!!

I love the second picture... it makes me think, "grim reaper". The other three seem normal in the process of finding the perfect picture. What were you going for? Self portraits? If so, think focus. In the last one... My eye goes directly to the pillow in contrast to the dark background and then makes your face appear flushed... but good emotion. :)

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I was obviously not really focused on anything in particular, so it shows. :-/

BTW - I'm returning the favors! Thanks again!

Took y'all's advice and worked on the last one some more. I think reducing the glare on my face and changing the color of the pillow helped. Thanks!

And Telephoto, you need to get some more shots up on here! Your frog is great!

Second shot is very grim reaper but, that isn't a bad thing. I thought the b&w has some promise but, does seem a bit too processed.
