Desiree saw a couple of my photographs and contacted me to see if I would be willing to try some fashion style shots for her portfolio. She had picked up a green dress and wanted to do something inside or next to a forest. We ended up shooting in a local park at sunrise.

I tried to focus on the dress and how it flowed as well as using the woods and morning light to create some interest.
Any input you can provide is greatly appreciated!

Gorgeous! All she needs is fairy wings. Love the dress in #3.

I love #6464. She's a great model, and that dress looks stunning.

Stunning! Those photos are beautiful! Did you use a fill flash of any type on these? Excellent work!

No fill flash or reflectors. We shot at sunrise (5:30AM) and we had very soft light because the sky was still overcast from a storm the previous night.

I read a comment from GoldBerry just before shooting this, "you could've got much more dynamic shots by creating more fluid movement from her dress and hair.", so those words kept running through my head as I was shooting the series of shots that resulted in #3. DPC is a great place to learn... even if I have been a little out of sync with the challenges recently.

Beautiful!

Nice lighting, stunning model, well exposed, except for last one.

Some of the poses look rather awkward and unnatural, other ones work very well.

I think you have done a great job with these!

Great stuff....

I see some room for improvement but it's far beyond what I am capable of doing so take it all with a grain of salt.

Great dress, unusual color, but a light enough shade to contrast with the natural greens....
