Got my IR Gallery started... still processing this morning's shots.

I am experimenting with different settings to achieve the color. Looking for feedback... Thanks.

Ingrid, you have some very nice IR photos - good job!
Are you using an IR filter,or PS to convert to IR, or an IR action for PS that you downloaded? I'm just curious as I'm interested in trying to
ressurect some of my blah shots and see if IR would make them more exciting.

Thanks Linda :)

It was cool this morning, so I grabbed the camera and dog, and went for a walk.

I bought a Sony DSC-F717 just for IR work. Presently, I have the Hoya R72 filter and a polarizer on it. I am awaiting an ND8 filter to replace that polarizer :) - though I am wondering if that will be too dark. Right now, these shots are handheld at 1/60s and I like it that way LOL

I process them in PS to get some color: Hue/Sat, Levels, USM.

I can definitely see IR jazzing up a boring shot, especially one with a lot of trees.

Yeah. Most people use the R72. Was thinking of getting it myself.

Oh, and Linda. It isn't even remotely possible to convert existing images to IR.

Hmmm....there are several actions available for this procedure.

Rob is right. Fred Miranda has several actions/plugins for sale and Chroma has one also (but more expensive).
