86F, cloudy with occasional lightning flashes
surprising, since it's been really hot around here lately.

It's 85 with 60% humidity right now... so it's like living in a sauna. I feel your pain.

Very nice today, cooling off this evening, but usually the same forecast year round...

Rainy in Seattle

San Francisco set a record for the day at 86; a few miles inland, Concord was up to 103, but our humitity's fairly low, so it's not quite so brutal.

I have a T-shirt celebrating the Seattle Rain Festival: only runs each year from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, so don't miss it!

I lived in Vallejo for 7 years - could get hot there and Napa Valley also, but nice motorcycle weather and scenery!

I have always loved Seattle for some reason. Never been there, seen very few pictures or movies with Seattle in them, have no relatives there, and know only two things about Seattle - it rains a lot and the Space Needle - But for some reason since I can remember as a child I have loved that city as if I can picture in my mind. Weird!!!!

Seattle and Vancouver, BC, are two really nice cities--I'd definitely recommend them for a visit.

Yeah, I might complain about the rain a bit, but when I worked for a software company in Redmond several years back, commuting 22 miles in THE WORST traffic, I still preferred it to sitting in Bay Area traffic because I am surrounded by beautiful scenery and greenery instead of the concrete jungle.
