I've just become a member and added a few pictures to my portfolio. I would sure appreciate some feedback, good or bad. I'm always trying to improve. Thanks to all.

Hey Bob,
I had a look at one of your photos:
I see room for improvements here, a better crop, maybe rotate it 90 ccw, apply some curves to get the contrast up, some sharpening, dodge and burn a little, to get highlights up, while blacking out the background more. Maybe add some red flares around the lightning, to get a better impact of the photo.. Well anyhow.. I had a try in Photoshop with your photo:

but seriously, I think your photos look very good. I hope that I one day can capture a ligtning shot like that! Awesome! ;-)

Welcome to DPC Bob. You have to ignore some of those members who, unlike myself, can never be serious. Personally I find nothing that transpires on this site to have any humor in it at all. But that's just me - mr. serious - people are always telling me to lighten up and get a sense of humor. I've tried everything from "LOL" to "ROFLMAO" but I guess I was just born to be serious. Oh well. Enjoy. LOL

I've made some changes to my photo "Summer Haze". I've cropped tighter to the windmill and straightened the horizon. Would appreciate additional feedback
