OK, guys... the stock photos aren't cutting it, so here's a chance to search your archives and make some bucks. I need a photo of an SUV or pickup truck towing a boat for a commercial package. Ideally, it would be a 3/4 view of a truck and a large boat coming toward the viewer with a little panning motion in the background (I can PS the motion in, if necessary). The image will be printed small (about 2"), so super high resolution isn't required. Payout would be at least $100, probably several. Anybody have such a photo?

Oh c'mon, it's such a common subject... right after kids, cats, flowers and sunsets. Surely there are thousands of towing photos out there. ;-)

Most of my shots like that are from the 3/4 back, on the freeway.

Someplace I have an interesting one where the trailer's hauling about 8 canoes, but I think they were from the Save The Bay organization, so I don't think your commercial sponsor would be too interested in that anyway ....

I did once see a CRX towing a Jeep, but I didn't have a camera at the time....

Now that's funny. I didn't think a CRX could tow anything. (I owned an '86 CRX)

There's some boats on trailers near me ... I'll keep an eye out for one where it's hooked to a truck, and with no or a fuzzy BG.

Drat - if I had the gear, I'd skip work and take a run down
to the harbor and make it happen. Oh well...

I can go shoot one in about 10 minutes...but have you looked at my profile lately? I'm probably not the one you want taking the pic.

That's the right idea, but I need the whole truck, and preferably a bigger boat.

Alamy have similar to what you ask for, but they tend to be a bit pricier..

Any use for a tug boat pulling a ship?

And depending on when you want it...what color truck?

Did you get your shot yet? I live in the land of trucks pulling boats. I'd be happy to try it for you. When do you need it? I'm going out of town this weekend.

The only towing photo I have is this one. The boat is inside the trailer.

The boat is now in kit set form. Glue not included.

Wow! Guess that's what happens when you stop short and all the elephants slide to the front and feeling the impact you speed up and they all slip backwards, tumbling one over another until their in-extricably jammed in the middle of the trailer and it...well, breaks down. :-)

Wish I had seen this request earlier this morning. We just got back from taking our boat out on the river. We took my brother-in-law, his wife, and their newly adopted daughter out on the Columbia. I had my camera gear with me too. I could have got you a photo of my nice white Tundra towing my nice white ThunderJet.

On the plus side, I think I managed to get some good shots of Peregrine Falcons feeding young on their nest over the water. I haven't had time to check the shots yet though.
