Went to a church picnic/cookout at Smith Mountain Lake, VA on Sunday and took a bunch of shots. These are 3 that I've worked on - whaddaya think?

Except for the slight wash out in the middle, I think #1's the best. I like the coloration of #2, but the first is still the best.

Hey sj, Cloud shots aren't really my thing, but that being said, I viewed them all and like #2 best, then #1 followed by #3. The purple one is offbeat but the water in that one looks especially cool. Kind of like country music: once you get over what it is, it can be kind of fun. (I can almost feel the groans of this young, hip crowd!)

By the way, I know you are new to the area... did you know that Smith Mountain Lake is where they filmed the movie "What About Bob?" with Bill Murray? I'm pretty sure that's right... beautiful place, nonetheless.

Looking forward to meeting everyone who'll be at NotaCon! Actually, I did know that's where they filmed the movie - hysterical flic, I love it! And it really is a beautiful spot (I know I didn't show much of it in the pix I posted, but those were the first three I've "processed" - I have about 70+ more to go!)
