Anybody use this for photo storage while traveling?
Pros? Cons?
There's not alot of choice of these types of storage units in Montreal. Other than the Epson ($700), this is the only other one I have found available. 30 Gig capacity for $500 (can$).
I don't have alot of time before I leave, so I'm not sure ordering something from the US is an option.
Any advice on this unit would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's best used with Nikon....should not be so...but a friend had two cameras on a vacation and it would not work with the non-Nikon that she had....odd but that is what happened. |

I've got one, and I use it with my Canon. Never had any problems, but it doesnt support canon's RAW so if you want to review on it and you shoot RAW then its probably not for oyu. I usually shoot JPEG though so its perfect.

You,re right about not having many choices here. I found a Flashtrax at Henry's and they're in Toronto so they could ship it fast enough.
But I would recomend the Epson if you can afford it cuz the screen resolution sucks on the Flashtrax (I view my pix on my camera LCD! cuz it's way better).

Thanks for the advice.
I finally decided to go the laptop route. Not so much more expensive, but many more possibilities.
Cheers!
