The link below is a collection of a few of the shots I took over the past few weeks at the lighthouse just down the block. Comments are appreciated and welcome!
I have also added a number of other shots to the portfolio in general. Thanks for looking!

Nubble Light Surf is the best compositionally --- I really like it. Nice job... it looks like it was a beautiful day out there!

Great shots of this beautiful lighthouse. The one with the artist painting as you're shooting is fantastic! Left you a few comments. Top notch work!
Edit: Spelling! :)

It was an awesome day, the gulls were playing all over the scene and I managed a few shots that caught them in the frame with the Lighthouse, still working on post with those as there was some hair-thing that decided to land on my glass at that point.
Thanks all for comments and views!

JD - I love the shots. Looks like a great clear day. I bet you could get some very dramatic shots with some storm clouds int he background. |

Bump for morning crowd and note to JB: Yeah! This afternoon is supposed to bring some 'Wicked' storms. Planning another trip just to see what I can find. ;-)

I made a slight crop adjustment to the Nubble Light Artist shot in this collection, just wondering which one people like more. I tend to like the both very much, but cannot really decide which one is the better of the two.
The original seems to me to show grandeur of the lighthouse by including more detail and making the artist smaller, however the edit puts a nice focus on the artist while centering the lighthouse and making it more of a secondary focal point...
any comments welcome and appreciated.

I vote for the original composition. I like the balnace between the two subjects better. Post some of the storm shots if you get them. Should be interesting. |
