I've looked through a lot of the challenge submissions and am in the process of voting. One thing I noticed is I consistantly gave higher scores to shots with better lighting. Snapping a picture of action is not easy. Snapping a picture of action while paying attention to the lighting and how it affects your subject is difficult.
I did not enter the challenge but I will be voting and commenting. There are some incredible images here and kudos to everyone who entered.
