Here is a quick and dirty background color change from the one I submitted in the challenge - I could have put blue filters on my backlight to give a similar color change - The way I did it for this photo would not be legal.
I personally feel that the white - although was hard to do - is a bit stark after looking at it for a while.
Any thoughts?

Well i'd definately go for the blue one. Too much contrast in the white bg. The blue is sort of easier on the eyes. |

I disagree. I really loved the shot.. and I think the stark white background gave it an even more surreal look, although it made it easier to see that it was set-up and contrived. Either way, liked the shot!

I think I like the white one better too. The blue is nice and easier on the eyes, but it makes the highlights on the subjects too harsh (IMHO).

I like the white!...
The blue is nice too, but it almost looks surreal in some way. It would be a great shot for a print ad targeting 20-30 somethings...

Nope on the blue one for me... the two pastel colors just compete too much for my liking. Pink and light blue...ew...
