You been to Parc Guell? I love it.

What about to that castle at the top of the hill?

Plaza de Espana during the light show, or the Metro or any of the bars and taverns late at night. See if you can find a Flemenco club that allows photos, may not be easy. Las Ramblas in the early evening, especially on weekends (hang on to your wallet). Any outdoor tapas bar between about 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM for candids of Spaniards enjoying themselves.

I lived in Spain for 3 years and it's a wonderful place for photographers. Great country full of fabulous people!

Aren't there some Gaudi (spelling?) buildings there. Those would be interesting to photograph.

Enjoy some tapas for me

*sigh* Spain... (wishful look)

At the top of Las Ramblas, which is kind of the main street, you will find a tour bus operation. The one I used had 3 lines, red, blue and green. They will take you on a good route around town, dropping you off at various destinations. When you are done looking around, you simply grab the next bus. (Usually about 15 minutes or so apart)
I found that to be a great way to get around fast, as I was on a limited time schedule. The busses also have a headphone set that gives you a running dialog about the surroundings. When I bought the tickets, they also had a coupon book of discounts for a bunch of stuff, including a lot of the tourist attractions
Have fun.

edit; to add some more info.
