Here is a picture i would have submitted to the obsolete thing. but i noticed i shot it too late. anyways what do you guys think?

Technically well done - DoF, focus, color, composition - but the overall appeal is mediocre in my opinion. That said, the Obsolete challenge was chock full of mediocrity, IMO, so it mighta had a chance. :)

ya everything seems perfect technically but overall, to me, it lacks snap to it. im not sure how you could remedy this though. maybe if you took one of the cassettes and ripped it apart or something add a little more interest? not sure

I agree with the other commenters. Technically it's fine, it just doesn't have a lotta WOW factor to it. And I really like art-inept's idea of strewing tape over the scene - it would add some interest. But ya never know how the DPCers are going to score something until it's submitted as an entry. I've certainly been wrong before many times. What's important is if you're happy with it. (I know, it's been said a thousand times and seems contrite, but it is true.)

wow thats a great idea. going right into conceptual. i really like it. maybe ill try that. :)
