So yesterday i went to this huge monostairy, very beautiful too...
I took some photos of the monostairy and was hoping to see what people think of them and if they feel this makes a little guide throught the monostairy i know it's not the same thing as being there but can you visualize how it is?
Are the photos any good what could be changed?

A lovely place, and a great collection of pictures! A pity you're two days late for Leading Lines...
One thing is that some of them seem to need sharpening.. perhaps you didn't sharpen after resizing.. A little bit of curves might also help a couple of them come out better.
Once again, very nice work! |

Looks like a beautiful place. What I get from your pictures is a sense of scale of actually how big the place is. I commented on a few of your pictures. Many of them are bendy (I don't know the photographic term) and I am not sure if that is what you meant to do. If so, then good job. If not, then when you learn how to make everything look straight - teach me!

What's a monostairy? A place with a single step? Or non stereo stairs? I am sure you meant monastery. |

Very nice shots, and I enjoyed looking at the bunch. Generally, I feel the perspectives and compositions are very good. If there's a suggestion to make, in my opinion, it's for a bit of a darker, more gothic feel to the shots. Sometimes more contrasts, darker tones, etc. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments they were very appreciated...
I changed the outside photo and went with the crop...
About dodge/burn it is a little more difficult since i am no expert but i will try and go over the shots when i have some time.
About the lens yes it's minimized due to the crop factor or the magnification of 1.6X But still is a great distortion...
I tryed the 8mm but it was too round....

Just looked at the shots - very nice. Looks like a place to get absorbed in/by. |

took liberties and applied a layer of black paint over the walls for texturing. adjusted color balance and hue/sat. it's a terrible job, but you get the idea.
