SF ROCKS!!!
So many great photo ops. You can't miss.
If you go out to eat try The Slanted Door(or Slanted Green Door?) Downtown at the Market/Embarcadero. Great food, cool menu and not too, too expensive.

Juts got back Wednesday from spending a little over a week there, some of it up in wine country. It was awesome. Take a drive south on Route One if you get a chance, the coastline is beautiful.

Ohhhhh, have fun! I live about an hour and a half away and I will talk my husband into going into SF to stay overnight just because I love it. (He humors me and takes me, its not as big a thrill to him since he grew up right by there) Its like a mini vacation everytime for me. It has great things to photograph as far as bridges, buildings etc. but I love going to the places that some people don't enjoy, like Chinatown, etc. because I like looking in all the little shops and people watching. Theres always something going on. The last time we went, we stayed overnight in Japantown, much smaller and quieter than Chinatown but it was fun too. Also, I had the best bowl of ramen I've ever had, lol. Also, not photo related, I don't know if you're into it, but I love going to see shows there. They have some great ones, last time we saw one written by Billy Joel, I forget the name, but it was great. I believe it was at the Golden Gate Theatre.
Anyways, enjoy your trip!

I am sooo excited! Just got my tickets, I fly out on the 18th of July. Any cool things going on during that time? This is my second trip. I loved Alcatraz and Beach Blanket Babylon! My favorite place to eat was the Todai Resturant from the last trip. Last time I went to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, that was sooo neat. That lady was crazy. I liked riding the Bart-first time ever in something like that. |

One item that looks interesting is thisUrban Youth Festival that's happening July 23, 1-5pm. It's in the Mission District.
The Renaissance Faire in Novato (north of SF) will be open (July 9-Aug. 14)
