This must be so stressful for you and your girlfriend. I am sending prayers that Louis-Justin heals quickly and comes home where he belongs.

Neutrophils count down to 6% today, that mean 100 part per mm3 instead of 1500 part per mm3. Biopsy planned for tommorrow afternoon. Can't cry hard enough.

Right now there are two possibilty left from what the doctor said.

1. A virus. It's going to heal within a week and we will have a lesson to remember for the rest of our lives.

2. a Cancer,

I am a great believer in the power of prayer and thoughts especially when it is a group effort - when a group pray AT THE SAME TIME. I suggest that we here arrange a set time - say 12.00 (half an hours time) to all pray at the same time for healing for this child and his family...

Anyone up for that?

I don't tend to ask the good Lord for much, but I will make a point of asking for a favour for you my friend. Mes prieres sont avec toi mon ami.

Praying here too...I know you've seen a lot of messages about prayer as of late, but there's no such thing as one to many.

Amber I'm not sure if it needs to be at the same time, but count me in as another voice.

Hi Nick,

I cannot begin to imagine going through what you are going through right now. I have been watching this thread for a while completely lost for words. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with your family. It seems strange to pray for a virus, but that is what I find myself doing. I read a bit about that count you mentioned and it seemed that Leukemia would be associated with a high count rather than a low count but it is all very confusing. I hope that they can rule out these scary outcomes for you soon.

Blessings,
Darlene

I have no children of my own but understand how they become the center of a parent's universe. I can't even begin to undestand the pain and uncertainty you and your family are experiencing right now. As others have said before me, you are in out thoughts and prayers. I just don't know what else to say...

Is there any additional news in this regard.

I seldom get wrapped up in another person's business, but I so hope that all works out well in this instance.
