Took these two today, spotted a couple of kids posing around with guns, as soon as they saw me with the camera, they posed like seasoned professionals.

never mind; you caught it ;)
I think they're fascinating... great captures. The watermark is a bit distracting, but I guess it's a necessary evil. Thanks for posting them!!! :)

everyone i ever met has played with toy guns as a child (boys anyway) - the problem isn't the toy, it's the parenting. (ducks for cover)

These are very interesting photos, but how did you know the guns weren't loaded? |

I just think the kids look as if they could be carrying real guns, like something from a warzone! I've no prob with toy guns, but when kids pick up real guns.........
Down with guns.

They were plastic, took a good long look, infact the kid shot a cork at me out of one of them, which goes to show he ment business |

Ignoring the politics of the gun issue, they are great portraits. There's a strong sense of connection, of smouldering emotions and of stories untold. Very nice.

Absolutely beautiful images - great photography. I can see these being published in a fine art magazine or hanging in an art museum. Congrats on excellent framing, beautiful tonal range and "connection" with your subjects.

Wonderful picture, though the subject matter disturbs me just a little.

Looks like you overused the NeatImage on both photos. Not much detail left. The subjects don't do much for me either. |

Absolutely no Neatimage, don't even own it. As for the subjects well, different strokes for different folks.

Great portraits..
You've really given the viewer something to think about, and shown us something about these kids and their lives.
Thanks for sharing!

I agree. Especially the second photo (the one with the gun pointing straight at the camera). |
