is it possible to get slides/transparencies made from digital images? If so, how? At what cost? where? Also, is it worth it? thx--karma |

I know a couple of places near where I work which can each make 35mm (up to 4x5 or 8x10) transparencies/slides or negatives (from which you can make prints).

Worth it or not depends on what you need them for, and how badly. I think mounted 35mm slides run about $2-5 each; I suspect a 4x5 would run about $25 (and need a HUGE file to take advantage of the film''s resolution -- say 130MB). If you''re going to make a few (copies of) prints, I''d go directly to paper.
