I sat out for the last several challenges but have been working hard on my Birds entry. Problem now is I have 3 that I'm trying to choose between. GRRR! They're all 3 very different (which makes it that much more difficult to choose) and I just KNOW that I'll choose the wrong one. LOL
Anyone else in a similar quandry? ;-)

Happens all the time!
You'll see a lot of reference to this problem in the forums under current challenge 'outtakes'
Of course all the commentators on the forums say nice things like.."i'd have given that 10" etc.
Under anonymous voting I am sure that the ratings would be different. I sometimes (if I have time) post shots to other sites for opinions... the one that gets most favourable comments gets entered!

Yup...but we always only have two choices here:
1) The most technically pleasing one that gives us the shooter a warm fuzzy.
or
2) The one that is going to sooth and appeal to the masses around here (usually the simplest yet cute one)
That's the hard part is choose between the one that's going to dive...or the less complex one that will enhance your average.

LOL - I hear ya both... Good idea about getting opinions from other sites - I may try that in the future. And as far as the 2 choices goes - that's EXACTLY what I was trying to choose between! It's funny that many people seem to go through the same old transcript in their heads.

| Whenever I think a picture is good, it tanks...I should enter the shots I don't like...but then, the same could happen to them...Wait a minute, this is stressing me out and I'm confused. |

If you choose your favorite, you can't get the wrong one! What I usually do is poll 5-6 of my friends and see if they agree with me which is best. They usually do.

The other thing that I noticed is that when I show my candidates for entry to family, friends and coworkers...they all tend to be a little flaky until you say "This is the one I'm Leaning towards" and then the song changes to "Yes that is the one I would enter blah blah blah"
...and then when It's over their right there by your side with the "I don't know what's wrong with these people, I would have given you a ten"...
Fortunately my mom and one of my co-workers tell me how it is...but you don't find that very often.
It's a challenge...no candy coating please...
