I had four of my grand children together this afternoon and it was terrible weather, so I took this inside with a flash, on Auto. It looked alright in the view finder ,but, am so dissappointed with the result. I really hoped I had done better. I had 4 photos but this was the only one where they were all facing me it was very choatic!
It will be a while before I get the chance to do this again
Can anyone here please try to improve it for me?
It would be such a favour to me if you can.
I have tried myself without much improvement.

Thanks in advance!

kids are very chaotic, and i know it is so hard to get them all to look at you at once. I dont know how to improve it sorry, but i think it is still very cute. Such precious times :)

A quick attempt.

I've had a quick go:

I think it's better but can't do much about the slight out of focus and grain, neat image will ruin the pic I think. Very cute kids by the way, they're all looking at the camera at the same time, that's some achievement!

and mine.

Sally you've captured a precious moment in time, doesn't have to be perfect. It's a very special photo.

well, i thought i was gonna do something novel with it, but got stumped after a little while and i think mine looks pretty similar to everyone else's.. anyways:

edit to add: of course, i like my version the best ;)
i'm sure many might beg to differ though :P

I'm awake even though I shouldn't be, and now I can't sleep and am bored, so I thought I'd do something a little different than anyone else.

Just having fun. You've got a great, fun little shot here, and have no reason to really be disappointed at all.

Thanks everyone for your efforts

My grand children are from left to right
Monique 10 months
Katrina 3 years
Olivia 2 years
Jacob 1 year
I have loads of photos of them seperate but this one if it had been good enough would be one I had hoped to frame
And like you said it is still precious a moment in time
Thanks again

What don't you like about the photo. I think it's a great capture.

Thank you for that I like the capture also
It's just the quality is not the greatest
That is my fault and the lighting conditions

it would be easier to fix this image if we could have a go on the original, to try to fix a image that is 640x640 pixels and 150kb max. will never give you an image good enough for a print.

this image looks very easy to fix if the original file is bigger, like the full 4Mpixel your camera is capable of.

You could always take the single shots and combine them together into the same image.

I was thinking the same thing as Moodville. Take the individual photos (you could even use the ones in this photo), and create a collage out of it.

Also, I like what Artyste did with it.

Mr Tee, you did a great job on that photo!

I agree with DanSig. It would be much easier to work on the original. I tried to work on this one but it's just to small to edit right. The eyes would especially be improved with a larger canvas area to work with.

Here's my (really) quick go at it.

Brightness/Contrast
Selective Color work on Red
Levels adjustments
Removal of flash in eyes.
