Hi, I am new here. I wish I would have found this place a lot sooner. There sure is a lot of talent floating around. I have put a few of my favorite shoot in my portfolio. I welcome any comments. Constructive or otherwise.

hey there! welcome to the both of you ... i've been here since 2002! it's' quite addicitive and I have surely learned alot since then ... have fun and keep an open mind ... that's what keeps me sane :)

Welcome, I looked at your profile and you have some good photographs. Good POV, Color, Macros, etc. Wish you well here at DPC. And welcome to DPC as well peterish. Good luck to both of you and remember, It's all about learning and having fun.

Welcome aboard Toby,
Be careful - this place can be addictive as well as eductional.
It helps to have a thick skin too, as the trial by fire so to speak of the challenges can be a bit tough at first, but when taken impersonally, can be a huge learning tool.

You WILL find that this site consumes an inordinately large portion of your free time, HOWEVER, you will also find that it helps you in ways you hadn't even imagined!
There are a lot of great people and loads of talent here (I'm humbled every day), so welcome & enjoy!

You damn fools!! You don't heed all the warnings.
Some of us, at great personal risk, try to stop you making the transition from just a casual looker to a paid up member. They are watching us, but we will save you from the abyss you are about plunge into.
No more will you walk the earth in blinkered ignorance, no! you will live your life thru a viewfinder, they have snared you. We keep moving so they don't get us, but there is only so much we can do before they eliminate us and you are drawn into the update button and the world of the challenge!!
Good Luck to you newbies, we did try to save you!
