...the "ready" challenge! Take a picture of something that is ready. Meaning things or people. For example, a ready bbq :

How are cold McDonalds French Fries ready?! I can't stand McDonalds French Fries hot or cold anyway, give me some proper chunky english chips anytime! |

That's just like my younger daughter (19) - EVERY time I go to take her picture her eyes close as if her eyelids are mechanically connected to the shutter release.

I'm trying to learn not to make them laugh as I'm taking the pictures. Everyone always says to make them comfortable.
Maybe your daughter just doesn't want her picture taken? |

Ha ha ha. As if she has any say in it. ;-)
Most of my kids have been difficult since the teenage years in regards to taking their pics, but I make sure I still take as many as I can because when they are older, I will give them copies / archives of their life and they will thank me for it. Pictures are the best way to piece your memories together. I have some missing years from my childhood, and our memories often get distorted by bad relationships, but my mom digs up some old photos every once in awhile and it's really interesting and somewhat therapeutic.
