Just added two picture to my portfolio of Eidur Smari Gudjohnsen. He plays for Chelsea en England and for the Icelandic International team.
 
Took this two when Iceland played against Malta in the World Cup Qualifyinground in Group 8. |

Wow! I have a question, and I'm not kidding either. I'm a point & shoot user and I have to press partway on the shutter release to get focus, then all the way to shoot. So it takes time to get focus & I have a heck of a time even taking shots of my six year old playing soccer.
Do dSLR's focus with the same method?
How did you get such good focus?
-edit: Oh ya, my daughter is number 9 as well. :-)

I believe arnit's uber-cam has focus tracking as an option; keeps a subject in focus as you pan.

most entry-level and midrange dSLRs have this option as well, but you'd need a good lens with fast AF motor to take advantage of it, with a cheapo tele lens like my Nikkor 70-300G it's almost useless.

| the 1D mark II has a very good focus system, and the lens he used is one of the fastest, the Canon 400mm L f2.8 IS, a $6000 toy :) |
