Okay, here are the shots I have to choose from for a contest sponsored by this sculpture park. The only guidelines are that the photo has to have sculpture in it someplace. I can submit three.
Some of the lighting tonight was a little better than what I have been dealing with. Keep in mind that, for whatever reason, these look a little darker than what show on my editing software and in print.
I'd appreciate some help in choosing.

i'd say the wheels second from left at top, definately the butterflies (nice shot and framing), and the last one in bw.
good luck!

Still really like the butterflies, then the b&w citizen photo and lastly Tall. The butterflies one really sticks out to me the most. It just has a very pleasing composition and very nice colors and softness. It's just pretty. :-)

It's interesting because the majority of the sculptures out there just aren't my cup 'o tea. However, in taking the time to walk around them, consider angles, look at lighting etc, I did start to gain more of an appreciation for some of them.
I just really like the park for the quietness, the overall grounds and lovely ponds etc. I am actually going to be taking some photos for a wedding being held there next month...so being out there doing this also gave me some good ideas of locations for those photos.
Thanks for your comments! |

I really like the 2nd and 2nd last ones. The colours in both are just great. |

Buttons, Butterflies and New Adam look cool. The b&w version of citizen looks bad to me. In the colour version, the grey statue stands out better from the green background.
Maybe you could help me out as well?

Butterflies. Reasong behind it. The are all wonderfull shots. However the most beautifull aspect of most of the is the sculpture. Anyone can shoot a picture of a sculpture. But on the butterlies you photographed the scene and it had some butterflies in it. I would also have to say the wagon wheel but I don't like the fact that the dirt is visible on the ground. If the gass were to fill in the bare spots I might decide I like that one the best. Well I hope my 2 cents worth helped you some. |

Is this better? I didn't really notice that before so thanks for that helpful hint! |

Yup I think it is much more pleasing now. I think I would now like to change my vote to the big buttons now. |

definitely the butterflies, for the reasons that tristalisk explained before your edit of the buttons.
