Oh, and a ribbon winner will get thousands of views. As opposed to 4th place place and beyond that will get a few hundred at best.

Start entering some challenges dude, only then will you understand the full DPC experience; and believe me, its better than material prizes.

What's most amazing to me, is the level of good, healthy competition that ultimately ends up being little more than an education really.
Many here have spent a considerable amount of money upgrading their equipment in order to push forward.
Virtual trinkets - pretty powerful stuff! |

and besides the virtual trinkets....there's the whole competion between members to make fun of bradp's camera lens....havent figured out why yet but its a real hoot doing it!! LOL |

You get a nice little ribbon...like this:
under your photo...and you get to be on the main page for a week or so.

Profile looks more colourful and interesting if you win. It's exciting.
Also, eveyone else knows that you are a winner. It's not a risk. |
