See you next time, Bob!

Would be good to hear from anyone else on the original list (in the first post) who can now no longer make it.

If anyone is planning to meet us after lunch on Sunday afternoon please PM Manic and myself and we can give you our mobile numbers in lieu of knowing already where we'll be exactly at what time. It will be in Greenwich area, of course.

I would still like to come and say hello and take a few snaps, if I may. I have an early afternoon lunch appointment on the Sunday, so would be for the morning and to say hello at lunchtime (but not stop for food).

Thanks!

e301 Thanks for the recommendation, and the directions.

What do others feel about meeting there at 11.00 Sunday Morning?

A

I, for one, feel rather spiffing about it. See you there.

I'll be there, and hopefully I have a place at the table for lunch!
It'll be great to catch up with you all...

Looks like rain for Sunday, but I have recently come back from a holiday on the Lake district so I have had some recent shower dodging practice...

Regards

Chris

Chiqui can you list who you included in the lunch booking... I know it's you, Matt, me, Pete (Ganders), John (Floyd), Dave (Io) but I didn't read through carefully enough to see who make up the other 6...

Everyone on the list on page 7. Some people emailed me personally so they didn't post to the thread.

Looks bad... Will keep checking the weather. But what's the plan if it is raining as predicted? Does everyone still plan to come for the lunch atleast?

If it is raining, myself and Manic will still go to lunch at least. We talked about it last night and we've commited to going so we'll go. The rest we'll play by ear.

I think plan for wet weather is still to meet for lunch (don't know what Canary Wharfers want to do) and then to work out what to do after depending on HOW bad it is...

PeterC, thanks for letting us know, hope to see you if you can make it.

A 4 day forecast is not much better than a guess.

Few Showers: weather.co.uk

Cloudy: weatheronline

Tomorrow will provide a better forecast.

I'll come to lunch whatever the weather (not a BBQ is it??)

I'm still dripping from my holiday in the Lake District... so I'm prepared for showers! (I forsee a large number of candids of folk with umberellas skurrying around the wet gray streets of the capital! - chased by numerous DPCers cradling their beloved cameras wrapped up in clear plastic freezer bags with rubberbands securing the ends over the lens! :-) )

See you all there....

BBC weather forecast for Sunday doesn't look too bad. I hope that it rains a little less than it did for the Southend Airshow on Monday.

Looks a bit more optimistic on the Met Office forecast - sunshine & showers on sat, with just cloud on sunday. Fingers crossed...

Hi Kavey,

Also i replied to a message from June (i think) to say the same thing. Sorry you didnt get the messages. Hope to meet up with everyone next time. Have a great time.

Maybe it's changed, but they're now forecasting it as wet as they possibly can :-(
