I read the tutorial on posting a thumbnail to a photo in a forum thread... I thought I was following the directions but...I can't seem to do it right. It's for the triangles outtakes thread.
Anyone can throw me a life preserver???

Tutorial Link
Edit: Oops! I see you read the tutorial. Sorry; I was trying to find the little graphic illustration someone did, but forum search isn't very effective IMHO these days, so I looked in tutorials, and ended up telling you no more than you already knew. Sorry.

If the picture is in your profile go to the picture and open it. In the url address bar you will see a long string with a 6 digit number at the end. Copy only the 6 digit number, That is your picture number. Now go to the thread you want to post it in and click on the far right button at the top of your message window [there are five buttons, you want the 5th one. Looks like 2 squares inside]. It will open a small box for you to past your picture number, then click OK. You now have it in your message.

The code will look like this:
177178
except I used angle brackets instead of square brackets, so you could see what the "rightmost" button inserted code-wise. Or in other words:
[ thumb ]177178[ /thumb ]
without the extra spaces near the brackets.
The final insertion looks like this:

Gosh, I've never been a maroon, but I do recall being a blue, sometimes a yellow, and once in a great while green with envy.

Sometimes when I'm mad I get red, but I don't think I've gone any darker than that. Has more of a magenta color when I've been running. |

I tend towards "menopausal red" myself, but can't imagine anyone being a maroon! |

Don't be ashamed. Being a "Maroon" is much better than a "Moron". |
