Here's one I took today (i.e., recently). I think it goes well with the release of the Star Wars thingy as it reminds me of those whatchamacallits in one of the episodes. (Well, the only reason I've seen any of the Star Wars films is because I had a big SW fan visiting from England when they were on TV, so we watched them - this was about 12 years ago. I haven't seen the more recent earlier episodes ;-p)

Columbines. State flower of Colorado. Genus name is Aquilegia. Species names vary.

heres my macro of a wasper i didnt have any lenses attached at the time. this is straight out of the camera too!
