Skittles is having a I-pod give away on there website. You have to sign-up and enter your code form a pack of skittle to see if you win. No I'm not a star wars fan [sorry] and don't like skittles but I saw this on TV last night. So I went and signed in so I could take a screen print, I found it quite funny. Notice the fonts used to spell SKITTLES notice how the "K" looks like a "H". Someone at the Corporate level is going to so in trouble when they get light of this.

ROTFLMAS? That's a new one...does that mean "Rolling on the floor letting my ass shittle"?

They're the best candy in the world. Ever.

Ew...definitely not wanting to "taste the rainbow" around here. ;o)

Yeah, I know Maoam, they're good. Unfortunately, any candy I tasted so far where there was Star Wars written on it tasted awful. The only good "licenced food" with Star Wars goodies were Kellog's and Pepsi.
For Episode I, there were Battle Droid ice-creams. Ugh. Tasted like metal :)

What do you think in general about the merchandising mania for Star Wars?

I believe George Lucas was the first to blanket the market with goods and he's done well and made a lot of $$$ from the Star Wars franchise.

I've seen something similar with the word 'flick' written in a sans serrif font, like arial. Around these parts, there is a place called 'RIVERFLICK' and if you see it incorrectly, the L and I of FLICK seem to join together to make a U. I admit it, I was quite interested to go there the first time I saw the poster.

Well, George Lucas was kinda clever when he signed that contract with 20th cenury fox for the first movie. They got the usual film company rights, but he held all the licences for merchandising. Made a hella lot of money out of it, and in the end, he didn't need 20th anymore to finance the sequels and prequels.
