its my husband in his ghillie suit out playing with the neighborhood kids last saturday night....they love to have him hide and they try to find him before he jumps out on them if they get too close and still dont see him. this has become a latenight summer game for all of them and hes just as much a kid at heart as they are. they all have a blast!

Sounds like loads of fun. I can remember playing hide-n-seek as a kid late on summer nights in the orange groves by my house. to be a kid again.

Ive been tempted several times to put it on and try to get a close-up of the fox and black bear. the fox im not so much worried about but the bear...can u imaging what a bear would do to me when my flash goes off?
ouchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :o)

as someone who is dealing with black bears on their porch daily (and yes, that is the 2nd story porch), i can certainly understand the wary approach to the bears! we've been having an awful time with them this year. they've completely destroyed all of our bird feeders (and hummingbird feeders - they drink them like juice boxes), and I know my whole family (not to mention the birds) are really tired of it! my dad was able to pepper one of them night before last with some buckshot (not to injure or hurt, just to discourage), but it doesn't seem to be working like it used to! Granted we have lots of wildlife here in Purgatory Holler (outside of Buchanan), VA USA, but enough's enough! We have mountain lions, bobcats, black bears, and everything smaller! LOL

anyway, just wanted to let you know that you weren't alone...

thanks..glad Im not alone. I have black bears at my house nightly also on my back porch. i guess it doesnt like my furnature arrangement out there beacuse it rearranges it nightly. Im about to leave them in the yard where he obivously wants them as im sick of moving them back every morning. are u close to VA/KY border? i think Ive heard of ur town but im not sure how close u are. time to go back to the drama that is my kids..have a great day all :o)
