Thank you so very much. I can sleep easier now knowing that should the need arise to travel, I can plan an itinerary to avoid missing any DQ's enroute ;-D

I am a former DQ employee... learned to perfect the curl on the top of the cone and everything! I worked at the DQ in Quinlan TX for several months in 1989 while I was working my way through my first year of college. Even had a date with a guy who asked me out at the drive-thru window. Ahhh...those were the days! ;o)

I'm not saying that it isn't true, but I've been to alot of DQ's in my life and I never saw anyone behind the counter that was this pretty:

I went to a DQ in Prescott, Arizona, in 1970.

As I recall, besides our big American station wagon, the only other vehicles in the parking lot were pickup trucks sporting gun racks, and some chromed-up Harleys ridden by the guys with denim jackets (sans sleeves) and an assortment of tattoos.
