well i was dreaming for a ribbon, but a score of 6.30 i don't think is quite good enough. lacking perhaps a whole 1.0 in points. :( better luck next time :)

This is just a reminder to all Dream voters, that it's NOW time to go back and start bumping up scores.
OK???? Please?

Pleaassseee =)
I can't wait to show everyone the graph for my score... the past couple days it's been plummeting! I've been keeping track of my average with every vote and it's such a weird graph.
I was glad to vote high on this challenge... everyone met it! haha. I gave lots of 6-8s, 6 x 9s, and 2 x 10s. Great job everyone!!! I can't wait to see the results! |

I dreamed mine would have been around a 6.0
Had too many other things going on & forgot about it.

Good job. Now could you go back and do it again?
Just kidding, of course. I was only hoping to keep in the 6 zone. It's a simple pleasure but it works for me.

I haven't been keeping track, but in the past when I've had a lower than expected score, I have gotten and end of week reprieve, and some upward motion. But my shot now keeps creeping up, then POP. Must be a 1 or very low vote, brings me back down again. And the down is winning ;)
It's pretty much at an all time low right now (5.12), just in time for the end of the challenge. I'm just hoping at this point it doesn't plummet below 5. But now that I said that...
Oddly, or perhaps not, it has 14 pretty favorable comments.
I still like it, and I already put it in my prints portfolio. Guess it won't sell much around here. But who knows ;)

Nice shots, Grand and ccraft and Artan. WTG on the ribbons. A lot of wonderful images in this challenge; it was a pleasure to view and vote.
BUT.... when that's said and done, I gotta say I'm a little peeved that even in DREAMS we get a backlash for photoshopping eccentrically. I'd have thought if EVER a challenge was just MADE for strange effects, this one was it. Yet my shot, which is TRULY dream-derived (don't even ask) and, to my eyes, very nicely done, finished below the middle of the pack. Sigh... I still love my baby though.
And to all who wondered, it;s neither a potato nor a peanut, it's a ROCK, and the "object" is a sculpture by Mark Usher Roberts that I have in my house.
Salud, Robt.

Hey Robert: I found this image a real dream and fantasy like image. I really thought this was a challenge about dreams but search and you will find that we are not a dreamy society here at DPC. Dreams here are better unadorned and closer to reality than to surreal. Some very nice entries fell by the wayside. Oh, well. I missed the gyst of the challenge. And of course, dreams is the ideal place to use legal special effects. |

Tell me about it Robt ;) I finished 28th percentile, my lowest percentile in over a year.
I thought I had achieved something--I set out to take a spinning camera shot where I could keep something "in focus/not blurred", and I got pretty close to what I wanted. I figured what better challenge than Dreams ;)
But like you, I do have something to show for my efforts; I still have the photo that I like. :)

Yours was one of my favorites in the challenge:
