Not the kids you were expecting, huh?

Bought these three little girl kids from some Mennonite friends. We've only had them a day and they are starting to get settled in and more use to us. The one on the right is the littlest at about 2 months old. The left one is about 2 1/2 months and the one in the middle is about 3 months old. They are the sweetest little things. I sit in the lawn with them and put them in my lap and they fall right asleep! The littlest one likes to jump up on me like a dog and will walk all over me if I lie down. She's the friendliest of the three so far. She loves to follow me around and cries when I leave her.

Any ideas for goat names? I'm sort of thinking "Lulu" for the little one on the right. What do you think? Suggestions please! :-)

Thanks,
Jen

Very cute, and I like the triptych presentation.

How about "scraps" for one of the names. Seems fitting for a goat, and yet kind of cute.

Do you have a barn or are you letting them stay in your house?

Edit: Can never remember how to spell triptych!

Your kids are adorable, great pictures too! I especially like the lighting in the center shot.

Ohhhh they really are adorable! (and the triptych is just wnderful!)
As for names, by looking at them I would say Lilu is the one on the right and Mika is the one in the middle.
As for the one on the left... I just don't get any name by looking at her. Perhaps Neil is right. Scraps could fit there.

What great kids, they are really nice shots. My fav is the one in the middle. I am not sure about names, but the middle one has a lovely caramal face...maybe truely scrumptous...like chitty chitty bang bang.:O) lol

I'd suggest calling them Lulu, Betsy, and Half-Pint. ;o)

(growing up as a hick is a plus in goat name selection, I guess)

How about "Billy" "Yearofthe" and "Gotmy" :)

I had this discussion with another friend whose friend was getting goats. If I ever have goats, which I most likely will not, they will have old lady names like Mabel and Blanche. And Dottie. I think those are perfect goat names.

Here here on the triptych! And no, they're not the kids I was expecting !

The one on the left looks sort of like Govorner Jesse Ventura; I suggest Jesse as his name.

The middle one reminds me of Barney Fife, so Barney would be my pick.

The 3rd one already has a name.... Lulu, right?

For names, how about thanksgiving for the fattest one, christmas for the next, and easter for the smallest? That way everyone knows for sure when's time to cook which.

Now...I meant that in a funny way...:)

That's hilarious! I have a sick sense of humor, too. Really funny...even though I'd never eat them. :-)

Thank you all for the great comments and suggestions! I have named two out of three kids so far. Lulu is the one on the right and Mabel (thanks mk) is in the middle. I think the one on the left will wind up being Gigi, Jesse, or Half-Pint.

Thanks again! Very much appreciated!
