$10 Across the board on 15
$2 Trifecta - 15/16 w 12/15/16 w 4/11/12/15/16

Edit...was hoping to get to Woodbine in Toronto tomorrow (as I usually do for the Triple crown), however, will have to resort to my good friend, Mr. Sony.

Andy Beyer picked Bellamy Road so you can throw him out.

i pick High Limit because I drew him in the office pool.....

indianapolis is close enought to kentucky to actually care about the derby, i guess. close enough to sucker me out of a $10 bet, anyway....

That was Bellamy Road.

Giacomo I think is owned by the Founder/President of A&M Records, or something like that..

Woohoo, I bet on both Giacomo (1st place) AND Closing Argument (2nd place). My family lives in KY and goes to the Derby every year, but I couldn't make it this year so I sent them bets to make for me.

How much did you win?

Sadly I only bet them each to show since they were such longshots (I'm a sucker for longshots... I rarely win, but when I do it's very exciting). Therefore I only got the third place price for them, so $44.60, but off of a $4 bet that's not bad!

Hey, John, I'm sorry to tell you this, but Secretariat started running the Derby in 1973... if he can't run 1 1/4 miles in 32 years I'd say his chances of winning aren't good...

Seriously, though, I have a picture of myself sitting on Secretariat's back from when I was 9 or so. Pretty cool, but I'm ready for there to be a new Triple Crown winner.
