I have my own website, launched recently. It doesnot open with Firefox.
Can something be done?

Well, you could start buy giving us some information, like where the site is and what software you used to create it.

If it's your site you link to in your profile, it's opening just fine for me and I use Firefox. :o)

My website address is available in my Profile. I do not know the software used to create it. (Someone else did it for me).
Whenever I try to open it with Firefox, the following message appears:
Site couldnot be found. Please check the name and try again. nullMy Website

The site works fine in Furefox for me. Are you able to open it in Internet Explorer?

That raises more concerns for me. I can open other sites with Firefox, but not my Site?

It sounds like you might have some kind of a name resolution issue (wrong name cached). Try the following.

1. If you are running Windows 2000 or Windows XP, go to a command prompt by going to Start/Run/CMD and click OK.
2. Type ipconfig /flushdns
3. Type exit
4. In Firefox, go to Tools/Options/Privacy. Clear your history and your cache and click OK.
5. Type in the site name again. Type it completely, don't use your recent sites drop-down.
6. If this doesn't work, reboot and try again.

Also, what version of Firefox are you running?

Works ok in FireFox for me, but it's pretty slow loading up compared with what I'm used to. The pictures, even the thumbs, "draw" visibly, and that rarely happens to me anywhere.

Help/About... that works in almost every Windows program.

First attempt on ff seemed to lock, closed and tried a second time and it came right up.

Works fine in FF for me and I have the most recent version. Like CJ said, it seems to be related to your system/settings. Not a site problem.

at first the site did not work for me but after i formatted my laptop (not for this reason) it now works fine but it does take a little bit longer than most sites to 'find' the site. (it kind of hesitates before going there)
