I really had trouble deciding on the best crop for this shot. How would you crop for best impact?

Here is the original, straight from camera except resized and USM for web:

And here are the four crops I played with:

Which of these crops do you like best - or how would you crop differently? Feel free to play with the original.

Thanks in advance.

Number two looks best to me. Great shot, off to leave you a comment :0)

Personally Crop 1 works best for me.
The main focal point is on her and brings attention to her expression without all the distractions.
Only thing I can say from what I've read/seen here is that if a person is looking in a certain direction, there should be more space on that side of the shot.
(kind of like a bird flying into a frame, than looking like it's flying out of it)

Crop 2 by my tastes. I like the subject filling the frame. Left you a comment.

Crop 2 for me. It seems to isolate the dancer the best.

I think 2 as well, I was thinking of 3 at first, but you can't really tell anything about the other dancer, so 2 is probably best.

I like #2 best, then #4. Nice shot!

the last one is sweet!

Hard to say, but I think I like the last one the best. They're all awesome, though!

The 4th one for me, if I wanted a close up, otherwise the first one for a group shot.

Thanks for all the input. Seems that a closeup is definitely desired over a full body shot, so now just deciding between #2 and #4. In number 2 I think she's isolated better, but I thought maybe number 4 gave her some context. Gonna try Kirbic's suggestion on number 2 and see if it adds some punch.

Thanks all!

It's the guy behind her to her left (in blue) that's distracting. For that reason I like #4 and #2 most. However I don't like throwing away so many pixels. It seriously reduces your printing options.

I'd tend to go for a wider crop and try to find another way to reduce that distracting guy. Might be possible in the editing - perhaps by changing the colour of his clothes.
