This has been my first Free Study challenge, and it has been difficult for me to choose which picture to submit. I think I broke the "Submit" button with all the final changes ... sorry SC ;)

Did this also happen to you?

At the end, these are the pictures I didn't submit ... now I hope I will not regret my decision :)

p.s: None of this picture is related to my actual entry for this challenge.

I agree with you, we just have to go with what we like, and do not think about what others may think :)

I'm pretty sure I picked the wrong one. My current score is 5.7, quite a bit lower than I thought it would be. Here's what I almost submitted:

This is a great picture, love the colours :)

elsapo I loved your outtakes, I can't wait to see what you did submit, sure it is a superb work :)

Here are two that I almost submitted... my entry is entirely different. What do you think about these? Also, I would love comments on the first one... it's my first time trying this technique. How woudl you have voted them? Thanks!

I was going to go with this. I love her shoes and the melancholy mood. I didn't think people would find it "pretty" enough though. The one I chose, completely different, is floundering in the 5.1 range. I guess it isn't really pretty either. Oh well.

I am with you and think I must have picked the wrong one too, though I am quite satisfied with the choice I made. I doubt this image would have scored higher than the one you did chose.

I picked mine because I thought it was a very good technical image and visually appealing. I captured over 1,500 images during the challenge time and you would think I could have come up with one to score over 6 in a free study, but I guess not. :)

I am totally shocked -- I submitted what I feel is the best photo I have ever taken, and my score is a 4.5 (the lowest score I have received in all 7 challenges) with no comments.

I am anxious for the voting to end so I can get some feedback on what is wrong with me that I would think this photo is so good :-)

There are some GORGEOUS photos for sure!

Well, I had more than usual to choose from...

Here some of my outtakes...

Choices , choices...
I was going to submit this one

but my friends talked me out of it because in their words it is "too ordinary". so I went with less ordinary shot which is now sitting at a (I guess not so high for this challenge) 6.1. Do you think this would score better?

Hola Arancha !
Te ha dejado unos comentarios , te deseo mucha suerte en el challenge , son muchas las fotos presentadas ...

These are some wonderful photos. These Free studies always produce some outstanding photos and outtakes. Arancha, those are all beautiful, the first and last being my favorite.

Ahaze, that's an adorable shot. What a great find!

And Bud and crabappl3, beautiful as ever. :-) as are all the rest.

This was a first for me, I usually have one or two but not much more and have usually had pretty good luck with my free study shots, except for my last one which was pretty much a disaster. This time around I had too many to choose from and it was hard. Here are a few that I was thinking about. Right now I'm at a 5.5 but I really really love my entry and it's something completely different for me which is another reason why I chose it. Hope you like them. :-)

This is another of my outtakes for the free study. I couldn't post it before because it is the same building, different view, that I used for my Abandoned building challenge. I prefered this one, but it had lense flare that couldn't be removed within basic edit rules, so I considered it for the free study.
At the last moment I withdraw it and replaced it with the one that I finally submitted. Maybe this one would have done better ...

Yes. I also am wondering if I chose the right image. At present I'm at around 5.1 for the one I did submit. Now I'm thinking I should have gone with this one. What do you all think.
